With over 30 years' experience in leading positions within the global banking industry in Switzerland and Germany, I can bring my private and institutional clients detailed professional knowledge of areas such as credit, foreign exchange, securities trading and wealth management. As an independent banking and finance all-rounder I am not only able to focus on the individual needs of my clients but also tailor my advice to suit their personal situation without being influenced by the policy of any one institution.
Personal Details
I was born in Basel in May 1947. After my early training I studied Business/Economics at the University of London. Unlike so many bankers I worked in trading and industry for a considerable period. Long spells abroad in the UK, Germany and South America have taught me to think internationally. I am happy to converse in a client's mother tongue, whether German, English, Spanish or French.
I consider my interest in painting and music to be a broadening of the mind and explains why I took on the role 10 years ago of Chairman of a Foundation which supports young soloists in Switzerland.
